Voici donc l’annonce officielle du prochain set LEGO Ideas 21311 Voltron Defender of the Universe, basé sur la série originale de 1984/1985. Un gros robot qui se transforme, avec 2321 pièces, 45 cm de haut et un prix public de 199,99€ en France (la fiche produit est déjà en ligne à cette adresse).
Accès anticipé pour les membres du programme LEGO VIP dès le 23 juillet 2018 sur la boutique officielle LEGO et en LEGO Store, avant une disponibilité générale au 1er août.
Même si la licence originale Voltron parlera surtout aux plus vieux, il faut savoir qu’il y a un reboot sur Netflix depuis 2016, et puis soyons réalistes : un robot géant avec une grande épée qui se transforme en robots lions avec des armes ? Les enfants vont probablement adorer…
Pour ceux qui aiment jouer au jeu des différences par rapport au projet LEGO Ideas initial, les designers ont encore une fois fait un très beau boulot. Mention spéciale pour les proportions et pour la tête que je trouve très réussie. Et LEGO a finalement choisi de ne pas inclure de minifigs dans la boite.
